Emma studied costume design with Suzanne Dougan at Amherst College and costume construction with Carla Froeberg and Emilie Long. Her designs aim to contextualize the work and help tell the story while allowing performers maximum mobility.

A real wedding
Of all of life's productions, weddings must be our most lavishly costumed. This was a special request to design and build a fascinator for a real bride on her real wedding day. She had a great sense of flair, so it was a pleasure to tailor to her requests.
